Not just on the oval, but with each other and within themselves.
The football gives them something to do together. The conversations, challenges and take-home activities carry that connection beyond the session — into their families, their friendships, and their everyday lives.
The football is the vehicle. The connection — and the leadership that grows from it — is the point.
The Arc

Week 1-3
Three weeks of football, connection, and honest conversation. Each session goes a little deeper than the last.

Week 4
Each young person leads. Each person teaches a skill they've developed to the rest of the group. They then go away with one final task.

Close-out
The last session becomes the most important one. We come back with what we discovered in our final task. What gets shared in that room tends to stay with people.
